The Balloons over Waikato Trust is a non-profit organisation and has been successfully running this event for the previous 16 years. The Festival is a major iconic event for the general public on the annual calendar in both Hamilton and the Waikato Region. Six times voted Best Waikato Event by the public of Hamilton, this event is must do in the Waikato events calendar. We were lucky enough in 2015 to win the Best Established Community Event in New Zealand at the NAEP Awards.

New Zealand’s longest river, the Waikato, is the perfect setting for two days of adrenalin-charged racing that is the “Bridge to Bridge”. High-speed boats, remarkable skill and extraordinary endurance are all on show during the country’s largest water-ski racing event from 27th – 29th November 2015.
Round the Bridges
Hamilton & Waikato’s annual Round the Bridges run is set to hit the pavement again this November, taking place on Sunday 15th, along the banks of the Waikato River.
The day is filled with fun events such as the stock competitions for Calf Club, Alpacas, Beef, Dairy Cattle, Dairy and Anglo-Nubian Goats, Equestrian and Sheep sections and Dog Trials.
